The Fourth Element promotes lifestyle in harmony with nature. We are dedicated to reframing public understanding of business sustainability, by addressing the impact of products on the health and well-being of consumers.

We encourage businesses to make more sustainable products, and help consumers to make better choices in the following areas:

  • Foods that are local, seasonal, delicious, artisanal, and naturally raised
  • Lifestyle products & services that are compatible with our basic physical, emotional and spiritual needs
  • Built environments that are natural, communal, and restorative
  • Businesses that are local, affordable, eco-friendly and fair

Our five year goal – by 2015 we hope to see:

  1. Consumer sustainability goals appearing in corporate sustainability reports
  2. Change in consumer behavior – people making more sustainable product choices
